1. Scope of Services

Angela da Silva provides professional holistic counselling and Reiki therapy, available both in-person and online, to support clients in achieving greater mental, emotional and physical wellbeing.

Holistic counselling offers a supportive space for reflection, self-awareness, emotional support, and personal growth, using an integrative approach that addresses the whole person. Reiki therapy is provided as a complementary modality that may assist in reducing stress and promoting deep relaxation. It may also support the regulation of the nervous system and enhance overall wellbeing.

These services are not a substitute for medical or psychological treatment. Angela da Silva does not diagnose physical or mental health conditions and does not provide clinical advice. She practices within the scope of her professional training and may refer clients to other appropriate healthcare providers when necessary. If it is determined that a client’s needs fall outside her scope of practice, services may be declined in a respectful and supportive manner.

2. Duty of Care & Professional Ethics

Angela da Silva maintains a professional duty of care for all clients, ensuring that every session is conducted in a safe, respectful, and confidential environment. Client wellbeing is a core priority.

All client information is managed in accordance with Australian Privacy Principles and relevant ethical standards. Confidentiality is upheld unless disclosure is legally required—such as under mandatory reporting laws—which may apply in situations involving risk of harm, abuse, or criminal activity.

3. Online Sessions

Online sessions are delivered using secure and encrypted platforms to maintain confidentiality and service quality. Clients are responsible for ensuring they attend from a quiet, private space with a stable internet connection. While all care is taken to protect client privacy, clients understand and accept the limitations of online communications.

4. Bookings, Cancellations & Refund Policy

• Booking Policy: All sessions must be pre-booked.
• Cancellations: A minimum of 24 hours’ notice is required to cancel or reschedule an appointment.
• Late Cancellations or No-Shows: Cancellations made less than 24 hours before the appointment, or missed sessions, are non-refundable and non-transferable.
• Credits: If cancelled within the required notice period, prepaid amounts will be credited to the client’s account for future use.
• Prepaid cancellations – before cancellation period expires – will be credited in full to a persons account for future use.

5. Refund Policy – Australian Consumer Law (ACL)

Angela da Silva operates in accordance with the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). Clients are entitled to a refund or replacement where a service:

• Is not provided with reasonable care and skill,
• Is not fit for the intended purpose, or
• Does not match what was described.
• Refunds are not issued for:
• Change of mind
• Personal dissatisfaction where the service was delivered as agreed
• Missed or late-cancelled appointments

If eligible, refunds will be processed in line with ACL guidelines. Otherwise, service credits may be issued at the practitioner’s discretion.

6. Gift Vouchers

Gift vouchers are valid for 12 months from the date of purchase.

Vouchers are non-refundable and non-transferable to another individual.

If an appointment booked with a voucher is cancelled with less than 24 hours’ notice, the session value will be forfeited.

7. Informed Consent

By booking or attending a session with Angela da Silva, clients acknowledge and accept these Terms & Conditions and give informed consent to receive services in alignment with this policy.

1. By submitting your enrolment, you confirm that you accept and commit to our Enrolment Terms & Conditions.
2. Applicants must be at least 18 years old of age.
3. Australian Reiki School reserves the right to reject any application for enrolment.
4. Once course enrolment is finalised, THERE ARE NO REFUNDS unless the course is cancelled by Australian Reiki School.
5. In special circumstances such as a personal crisis or illness case, students may defer their training course to a later date at the Principal’s discretion.
6. If your application for enrolment is not accepted for any reason, any payment you have made will be refunded in full.
7. Course fees are in Australian Dollars and are correct as of 04/11/2022 and may change without notice.
8. Australian Reiki School reserves the right to withdraw any student who uses ofensive or disruptive behaviour towards trainer. If this occur, students are obliged to pay any outstanding fees owed and are not eligible for any refunds of any kind.
9. We require a current mobile and email address to communicate details relating to your course.
10. This course is unsuitable for people diagnosed with a mental health disorder as some activities may cause emotional triggers. In agreeing to these terms and conditions, you are stating that you are not aware of any mental health disorders and that you are not currently receiving treatment for a mental health disorder.
